Preble’s Meadow Jumping Mouse Mitigation Credits

For Projects in Watersheds located in the Front Range, North of Denver, Colorado

A Partnership between the Colorado State Land Board and a group of passionate conservation entrepreneurs

Started in 2014, the Table Top Conservation Bank is the first privately-operated habitat conservation bank in Colorado. The project was founded by Conservation Investment Management, an investment advisor specialised in conservation finance and located in Castle Rock, CO.

This project is a win-win arrangement for local communities, Colorado schools and our environment. Using only private capital and working with our partner Colorado Open Land, our company restores and protects in perpetuity over 250 acres of habitat for the Preble’s Meadow Jumping Mouse. The mitigation credits generated by our projects allow projects that matter to our communities to move forward with less delays or costs due to federal regulations. Our landowner, the Colorado State Land Board, also benefits financially by receiving a share of every credit sold. The funds are then used to support the Colorado Public School System.
